New Album from The Mostly Dead Out Now!

The fifth release from Washington DC-based power trio The Mostly Dead, The Inadvertent Deerhunter finds the band expanding their sound into new territory, while still retaining the huge riffs and driving rhythms that they're known for.

Inspired by several near-death encounters with deer on our nation's highways while touring, The Mostly Dead turn their near-death experiences into [x]-minutes of rock and roll carnage, seamlessly combining the post-hardcore sounds of Fugazi, the hard rock of The Bronx, and the metalcore of Every Time I Die into something wholly unique.

Continuing the band's trend of working with some of heavy music's most talented producers and musicians (including Darkest Hour's Mike Schleibaum and Battery's Brian McTernan), the album was recorded and produced by former Jawbox/Burning Airlines front-man and all-around rock legend J. Robbins at Magpie Cage Recording Studio in Baltimore, MD.
